Where do you deliver to?

We deliver throughout Christchurch, with a standard delivery fee of $300 + GST within each area. This also includes set-up and collection at the end of the hire. Additional fees may apply for deliveries outside of Christchurch. Please get in touch to discuss.

Do you require a bond?

Yes, a $200 bond is payable upfront and will be returned to you at the end of the hire provided the cabin is in good condition.

Are the cabins powered?

Yes, we supply a 15m safety approved power lead that simply plugs into a power outlet on your property. The cabin is also protected by a residual current device.

Are there site access requirements I should know about?

Yes, you will need to have a reasonably level site as well as a minimum accessway of 2.7m wide by 3.2m high. Please be sure to check that no overhead branches, wires or house eaves will get in the way during delivery. If unsure, please contact us to discuss.

I may have some access issues, can you deliver with a hiab or crane?

Sure we can, but there is an additional charge for this service. Please contact us for further detail.

Do I need to obtain a council permit for my cabin?

Due to the size and portable nature of the cabin there’s no need to worry about getting a permit.

Is there a minimum hire period?

There is indeed, three months is the minimum period to rent one of our cabins. However, under certain circumstances we will hire for a shorter period of time (but this will bump up the cost of hire). Alternatively, if you would like to hire a cabin for less than three months just contact us and we can discuss.

I want to be warm, are your cabins insulated? What about double glazing? Carpet? Curtains?

Yes, to all of the above! Our cabins are fully insulated and double-glazed and come with curtains. Our Veranda cabins are also carpeted.

I notice the cabins have windows on the left and the right, can I choose which side best suits my property?

Of course. Our cabins do have a window on the right-hand or left-hand side so you can just tell us what is going to work best for you.
